NIBC is an enterprising bank focused on its clients’ most decisive financial moments. We share a forward-thinking, can-do attitude we call our “think yes” mentality, which shapes everything we do. From our offices in The Hague, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and London, we service more than 1,000 businesses and 390,000 retail customers through a portfolio of client-focused products and services.
The NIBC Fixed Income Sales Trading Team facilitates and offers institutional professionals, private banks and eligible counterparties with liquidity through its market making activities. It is specialized in trading off the run (non-benchmark) bonds of mainly financial institutions. Our network consists of 600+ counterparties. A Sales Trader has contact on a daily basis with these institutions and counterparties, providing them with liquidity via our facilitation book. With prompt analyses, market knowledge, quick thinking and common sense, a Sales Trader is able to determine the value of a bond and act accordingly. Key activity is to align counterparty interest with ours and explore (new) markets and counterparties. As an intern you will be an integral part of our team and have the chance to get involved in all of our activities. You will have plenty of opportunities to see in which area you want to develop your knowledge. There is no fixed program or role; we will develop this together with you to have it fully aligned with your areas of interest and background.
