London Banking Tour 2024

In September 2024, the promising and exciting world of investment banking will become a reality for 26 Dutch academics. This year, the FSA will organize the London Banking Tour for the 31st time. During this tour, you will get to experience what life is like as an investment banker in London. You will visit banks in London and in the Netherlands. Throughout the week, you will enjoy presentations, solve cases, and dine with employees of these prestigious banks. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel in the center of London.

The city of London is one of the world’s leading international financial centers. Hundreds of financial institutions from all over the world have settled within one square mile. It is an enormous attraction for everyone interested in banking and investment banking in particular.

Working for an investment bank is not in any way comparable to any other job. It requires total dedication and absorbs a lot of time and effort. But the advantages are obvious, and the honor of working for an investment bank is significant. It is a career choice that will pay off for the rest of your professional life.

Who are we looking for:

This project is designed for students from all backgrounds in their bachelor’s or master’s studies. An economics-related study background is not a requirement for participation in the event. Therefore, we welcome students from all fields of study who have an affinity or previous experience with investment banking. Fluency in Dutch is required.

Program:

We will be visiting banks from the 10th of September until the 20th of September 2024 in London. Before the tour starts, we will have an in-house event in the Netherlands on the 6th of September. Partial participation in the tour is not possible.
