Personal

During the past academic year, I completed my Master of Corporate Finance at the University of Amsterdam. The study program was very interesting and well suited to my interest in the financial world. During my studies, I was looking for opportunities for personal and professional development. This eventually led me to the FSA. The ambitious and professional character of the FSA, combined with the social element, greatly appealed to me. Last year, I organized the Amsterdam Investment Cruise. This great experience has motivated me to apply for a management year at the FSA. A board year at the FSA is a valuable step in which my development is central, I can work intensively in an ambitious team and develop my managerial skills. In short; the perfect preparation for a career!

Personal

Personal

During the bachelor Economics and Business, my enthusiasm for the world of finance has substantially increased. This year as a board member is the next step to develop myself, orientate for a master specialization and prepare for my future career. The FSA is an important and valuable player in getting students in touch with the financial sector. With its professional appearance and ambitious environment, this association is the perfect place to help students achieve their goals.

My affinity towards numbers and interest in financial policy, has led to me applying for the position of treasurer. As treasurer, I am responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day payments, but also making sure the budgets are in line with the policy. Solving financial issues and maintaining the purpose of keeping the association financially healthy, makes my position not only interesting but not at the least very challenging. I am more than ready to take on these responsibilities. Finally, I am looking forward to an amazing and successful year, where we all can lift the FSA to an even higher level.

Three years ago I started my Bachelor Business Administration. It has been an interesting program, which has provided me with diverse insights to the corporate world. After a six-month exchange in the United States, the end of my Bachelor is quickly approaching, meaning that it is time to look for a new opportunity to put the things I have learned to practice! The professional atmosphere within the FSA, fueled by driven students, connections with noteworthy companies and a wide range of projects and events, promise to make my year as an FSA board member an exciting challenge and a great continuation of my personal development. Next to developing my individual skills, I hope to contribute to the growing success of the FSA.

The FSA is an association that pursues big goals and plays a valuable role between ambitious students and leading companies, which I will directly be able to experience with my function as external relations representative. I look forward to collaborating with my co-representative, Florian, to make the connection between the FSA and the corporate world an even greater success!

During my work experience and bachelor of Economics and Business I have had the opportunity to get acquainted with different aspects of the business world. With the end of my bachelor approaching, it is time to develop myself on a professional level. The FSA has been known for years as the breeding ground for ambitious and talented students who are looking to build a solid foundation for a future career. Despite the enormous growth of the FSA, it didn’t lose its professional and ambitious character. This character in combination with the highly motivated members of the FSA has led me to apply for the board of 2017-2018. With my solution driven approach I aim to create value for the FSA and her partners in the role of External Relations. Therefore, I am very motivated to explore interesting partnerships and yield outcomes that are beneficial for both sides of the table. After finishing my Bachelor Economics and Business with an exchange programme in Mexico City, I was looking for a new challenge. It did not seem like a good idea to start my Master without developing more practical experience. Furthermore I did not know which master best suited my interests. The FSA has a wide range of projects in which market leading companies can be called our partners. Being a board member this year, is an unique opportunity to meet these companies and orientate myself for my future career. My experience in organizing events together with my creative thinking will help improving the projects of the FSA with the intension to strengthen the link between students and companies. As Internal Affairs I am also responsible for the recruitment, selection and guidance of the FSA committee members, as well as organizing all the social activities within the organisation.
