Job opening: Trading Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the dynamic world of finance. For this role we are looking for someone who has an academic degree, is structured with great communication skills and significant interest in financial markets. In this role you will not only assist the traders in the Arbitrage team, but also be the key link between our traders and our mid office department.

What you’ll do
As a Trader Assistant within Optiver you will be working in a highly competitive and fast changing environment. You will be the key link between our traders and our mid office department. Your daily tasks will exist of assisting the traders in the Arbitrage team, data management, checking transactions/ subscriptions and import data. Besides the daily tasks you want to improve and will take initiative to critically look at the current processes and streamline where necessary.
What you’ll need
Academic Degree;A strong affinity with financial markets;A numbers-orientated character;Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with VBA;Excellent numerical and analytical skills;Ability to work in an accurate and structured way in order to solve problems;Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
