Job opening: Junior Investment Manager Private Equity

PGGM Investments is a leading Dutch pension fund asset manager with c. EUR 105bn of assets under management with over two decades of experience in private equity investing. The in-house private equity fund-of-funds business has been set-up in 2009 and the team is growing rapidly to meet PGGM’s strategic allocation target to private equity. The investment mandate is global and requires extensive travel. The PE team currently has 11 investment professionals that work in an open, collegiate and non-hierarchical environment. Key Responsibilities

Supporting the team with day-to-day requests, financial analysis and with all aspects of deal execution including modelling, due diligence, liaison with advisers, completion, monitoring, internal compliance and reportingUndertaking market research (fact finding) and mapping of fund managers in different regions under the supervision of the senior colleaguesActively monitoring the deal pipeline, planning manager/investor meetings, preparing preliminary investment memos and supporting deal leaders in investment review meetingsPerforming independent performance analyses on fund managers in a region or sector and pro-actively communicate the results to senior members to aid manager selectionFor co-investments - provide support and assistance as requested with portfolio companies

Competencies, characteristics and experience required

Energy, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity and ability to learnAnalytic and solution oriented mindset, numeracy and lateral thinkingAttention to detail, critical thinking, confidence and ability to get things doneHigh level of MS excel, word, PowerPoint proficiency – MS Access and Excel VBA is a plus0-3 years of prior work experience, preferably in direct investments, corporate finance or consulting – other backgrounds are encouraged to apply and suitable candidates will be invited for interview
